Prayer Points - April

“We will not keep them from our children; we will tell the next generation about the Lord's power and his great deeds and the wonderful things he has done.” Psalm 78:4

•  Praise God for a marked increase in interest & support for the mission amongst local Christians over the last month; pray for Zoe & Sue as they speak at churches in the Newbury area.

•  Praise God that money has started to come in; pray that we will be able to meet our budgets of £12,000 for the mission itself & an extra £6,000 for follow-up during July to December.

•  Pray for the Inter-Church Netball Tournament on 21st April, that it will be a fun event for all involved as well as helping to raise funds.

•  Praise God for those who have already volunteered as stewards for the mission; pray that we will have sufficient numbers by the end of April to enable time for CRB checks to be completed.

•  Praise God for the many offers of accommodation – pray that we will have enough rooms for all 32 YFC team members.

•  Pray for both the safety aspects & also the insurance cover that are needed for hiring Victoria Park

•  Pray for the printing of the publicity materials that needs to be done over the next couple of months.

•  Continue to pray for the planning & follow-up teams in all the decisions that need to be made.

•  Pray for all Christian staff at St Barts, Trinity & Park House schools, for strength & wisdom in dealing with difficult pupils. Pray that they may all become aware of the Impact Mission & be able to lend their support in any way possible.

•  Pray for a flat-bed truck to be used as a stage for the Victoria Park events.

•  Pray for all young people in the Newbury area, that there would be an awakening of spiritual interest over the next few months.
